Early Childhood Experience
Musical Summer Camp (4-6 Yr. Olds)
During this summer camp held at Mel’s School of Music and Theatre, Ms. McDonald taught young students about different habitats and the animals that live in them. She then taught the students the songs “Under the Sea” and “Hakuna Matata”, which they performed with a dance at a show for their families.
Broadway Minis (6 Months-4 Years)
Ms. McDonald led a music class at Mel’s School of Music and Theatre for families and their young children, which exposed the children to instruments, songs, rhythms, and movement. The children had the chance to improve their social/emotional skills by learning with other students, their cognitive skills through music games, and their psychomotor skills through dancing.
