Communication Methods

  • Ms. McDonald is proficient at writing professional e-mails and is willing to communicate with families by e-mail regarding academic and behavioral achievements and struggles with their child.

  • Ms. McDonald is experienced in speaking with families of students on the phone regarding their students academic and behavioral achievements and struggles. She is willing to communicate with families by phone.

  • Ms. McDonald creates a weekly newsletter regarding what students are learning in school each week. She sends it out each Monday and includes necessary information for the upcoming week for families to reference. Please see the example included.

  • Ms. McDonald utilizes classdojo for immediate contact with families. She will also update families with pictures of students learning. Please see examples below.

  • The students in Ms. McDonald’s classroom each have their own mailbox that they are responsible for checking and emptying. Ms. McDonald will put hard copies of forms in students' mailboxes to be sent home and returned. Please see the examples below.
